The project Special (needs) friends wants to familiarise the public with the integration of people with special needs into society. The empty display windows in the main streets of Maribor has turned into a medium addressing passers-by in a public area in order to pass the useful information or reflections from different disability associations and individuals. On display windows, the Cultural-ecological fellowship Smetumet set up “toys with special needs” and a poster with information on the activities organised with disability associations, companies, and other organisations in the context of the Opportunity for All – Culture Enables programme.

On the interactive map the display windows are located on the following streets in Maribor: Partizanska 18, Kneza Koclja 2, Dvorakova 14, Vetrinjska 11, Gosposka 7, Koroška 6, and Trg Svobode 3.
