We are connected with disability organisations: Ozara, URI Soča, VDC Sonček, Centre for Blind and Visually Impaired Youth Ljubljana. The organisation Ozara received an order from ECOC organisation for construction and administrative services. The Centre for Blind and Visually Impaired Youth Ljubljana cooperates in producing a tactile book that will be publically presented in Maribor. URI Soča produced semimanufactures OB-čuten nakit, which is for sale at the ECOC Info Point.

PRODUCTS IN THE INFO POINTURI Soča has produced semimanufactures elements which KED Smetumet finished for jewelry Sensation-al!. This jewelry is handmade from the wood of the common grape vine, and equipped with writings in Braille alphabet. The product is protected in the packaging made from old newspapers for blind.

WORKSHOP OF HANDMADE PAPER FROM OLD CARDBOARDCultural-ecological fellowship Smetumet has organised a workshop of handmade paper in the Centre for Vocational Rehabilitation Soča. The opportunity of cooperation with the VDC Sonček was found, as they uses the paper for packaging their products. After a short introduction into recycling paper and a presentation of the blind printing technique, the participants got to work. They used old packaging of various colours and added various flower leaves and seeds that were picked nearby. They made beautiful and unique papers. Photographs can be seen here.
